Question 1

What video can I upload?

Accepted Answer

Upload MP4, MOV or M4V match files straight from your phone or computer. Send one full-match file, or first half and second half separately. Footage from Trace, Veo, Hudl, a club camera or a parent on the sideline all work — the wider and steadier the view, the more we can observe.

Question 2

Do I need to clip my player's moments?

Accepted Answer

No. Upload the match and identify your player. Touchline IQ analyzes the full video.

Question 3

What do I get after one match?

Accepted Answer

A full match analysis of your player and their Development Baseline: what went well, their Development Focus, what to work on, evidence-backed match moments, what we'll watch next, and the start of their Player Development Profile.

Question 4

Why analyze more than one match?

Accepted Answer

One match establishes a baseline. Multiple matches provide evidence of recurring strengths, development opportunities and trends. More matches don't automatically mean better performance — they give us more evidence to understand the player's development.

Question 5

What does Player Development include?

Accepted Answer

$49/month covers unlimited match analysis for one player plus their ongoing Player Development Profile: Match-by-Match Development, Development Signals as evidence accumulates, recurring strengths and development opportunities, evidence-backed moments, Current Development Focus, What We'll Watch Next and full development history.

Question 6

What happens to my $19 First Match purchase if I subscribe?

Accepted Answer

If you start Player Development within 30 days, your $19 First Match purchase is applied toward your first month. You'll pay $30 for your first month, then $49/month.

Question 7

Is unlimited really unlimited?

Accepted Answer

Player Development is designed to cover the matches a youth player plays throughout their season, including busy tournament periods. There is no normal per-match charge while the membership is active.

Question 8

Can I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time. Your membership stays active through the period you've already paid for, and afterwards your Player Development Profile, match analyses and evidence stay readable.

Question 9

Does Touchline IQ replace my player's coach?

Accepted Answer

No. Touchline IQ is designed to complement coaching by adding an independent, video-based perspective to the development conversation.

Question 10

Does Touchline IQ rank players?

Accepted Answer

No. Touchline IQ focuses on individual development rather than rankings or arbitrary overall scores.

Question 11

Is every observation perfect?

Accepted Answer

Video analysis has limitations including camera angle, visibility, distance and match context. Touchline IQ is designed around evidence accumulation rather than relying on any single observation. Where the footage does not reliably support a conclusion, we say so instead of guessing.

Question 12

What if you cannot clearly identify my player?

Accepted Answer

We contact you for clarification rather than making uncertain observations.

Question 13

How quickly will I receive the analysis?

Accepted Answer

Typically within 24–48 hours. Every analysis is reviewed before it is delivered.

Question 14

Will my child's video be public?

Accepted Answer

No. Customer-submitted video is stored privately and is not publicly shared by Touchline IQ.

Question 15

Who is allowed to submit footage of a minor?

Accepted Answer

Only a parent, legal guardian, coach or otherwise authorized party. You confirm that authorization before submitting.

Question 16

When do I pay?

Accepted Answer

For a First Match, payment is the last step: add the match and player details, upload the video and identify your player, then check out securely. With an active Player Development membership there is nothing to pay when you add a match.

Question 17

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

If analysis has not started, we refund in full. Once the analysis work has begun it cannot be returned. If your footage is unusable and cannot be replaced, we refund the order.
